• Other Information: He was previously married in Spain where his 1st wife died leaving him with two sons. He came to California and left his sons to be raised by their grandparents. He maintained contact them while in California according to his descendants.

According to his family, he was born near the city of Oviedo in Northern Spain.
His parents were Luis Sierra and Metotina De Lombardero (possibly Mendocina) and they had two additional children, Margarita and Teresa.
