Frank Errota
Former San Jose Resident

After a short illness Frank Errota passed on March 20, 2016.
Frank was born on September 30, 1926 in Upland Ca, served in WWII with the 88 Infantry Division in Italy and was a disabled veteran. Frank reported on local sports and covered three Olympic Games while with the San Jose Mercury News for 38 years. His passion was High School track and field.
Frank is survived by his step-daughters Stella and Joyce Ruckman. He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years Maria Ruckman, mother Catherine, and father Romauldo Errota.
Services will be held at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery on April 22 at 1pm.
