Martin & Mary Etchandy were living in Fullerton with their four sons and a servant, Martin Hurbelts. He was 37 years old, born July 1862 and she was 36, born July 1863. They were married for 12 years and she had 6 children but only 4 were living. He immigrated in 1885 and she in 1884. He was a sheepraiser.

California Birth Index shows a Richard M. born on this day along with his brother Robert. California Death Index notes a child by the name of Dominic J. who died at 7 days which would correspond with birth record of Robert. There appears to be twins born but that Richard/Dominic died as infant and the name was incorrect. Possibly name on death record was actually that of the father.
