Her godparents were Simon Latxaga, inheritor of the house of Latxaga, first cousin and Marie Oxarart, owner of the house of Mehacarenia, paternal grandfather. Her birth information found on her marriage record indicates that she was born on 2/20/1784 however, her mother died giving birth so there could not have been another daughter born in 1784. This is assumed the be the birth record for Marie.

Witnesses were Martin Arrambide, secretary of the mayor 46 years old, Marie Chaharra his wife 40 years old, Pierre Oxarart owner of Sorochilho 38 years old and Jean Etchart dit Charranguilet 50 years old.
