Our most loving mother, Josephine "Jo" Carmen Ambrosio, died peacefully December 13, 2013. Born on March 22, 1927 in San Juan Capistrano, California to Juan and Prudencia Amestoy. Jo met her love, Theodore Ambrosio in Long Beach, California. They married on January 31, 1949 at the San Juan Capistrano Mission Church, and the couple began their married life together in Long Beach raising their seven children. In 1960 the family moved to Norco and eventually Corona, where Jo was very active with Saint Edward's Catholic Church, Saint Matthew's Catholic Church, and Saint Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. Preceding her in death are her parents, Juan and Prudencia Amestoy, her husband, Theodore Ambrosio, and her daughter, Theresa Ambrosio-Bowen. Her survivors include her children and their spouses: Joanna Ambrosio (Jeffrey Kaiser), Michelle Ambrosio, Denise Ambrosio, John Ambrosio, Joseph Ambrosio (Leane), and Annamarie Ogawa (Dennis). She has eleven grandchildren: Anthony, Michael, Michelle, David, Rocco, Jude, Natalie, Jacob, Gabriel, Marcus, and Joseph. Services for Jo will be held at Saint Matthew's Catholic Church in Corona on Friday, December 20, 2013 beginning at 10:30 am with a Rosary and then a Mass of Christian Burial, followed by interment at Pierce-Crestlawn Memorial Park, 11500 Arlington Avenue, Riverside, California.
