  	Juan and Bernarda Arroquy were living in Canon Perdido Rd. in Santa Barbara with their children Marie, Juan and Francisco. He was 40 years old and she was 32. He was a laborer and she was keeping house. They were both born in France.

  	John and Bernarda Roque were living in Summerland with their six living children. He was 69 years old, born Jul 1830 and she was 53, born Aug 1843. They were married for 27 years and had 9 children of which 6 were living. He immigrated in 1840. He was a farmer, his son John was a day laborer and Frank was a lemon packer. Note: the last three children were noted on a supplement that is found on the Montecito, District 150 register.

Note: Their daughter Helen lived nearby with her husband and family as well as a Josie Etchas whose parents were from Spain and a Bertha who was noted as sister. Possibly all related to this family. More research necessary.
