    • According to his biography and other records, they claim he was from Hasparren. However, the immigration record of his niece Grace Heguy indicates she was coming to her uncle Jean Pierre Daguerre. Therefore, the marriage record of Grace's parents led to Mouguerre and this birth record. Since his sister Marie Mathilde was born in a different house, it is likely they were just workers in Mouguerre and possibly moved later to Hasparren where Jean Pierre was raised. Further research necessary to confirm.
