She stayed in Los Angeles when she first came to U.S. for a few weeks. She sang with Antoinette Ballade at the Plaza church on Sundays. She had a beautiful voice & sang all the time. She was also a seamstress.
She loved this country and to anyone who complained, "why don't you go back"?
