Jean Zahargun farmer, 23 years old, declared that he had an illegitimate child, born 9/29/1822 to him and Jeanne Apezteguy, cadette of the house of Gortheiri in the village of St. Etienne, section Leizpartz, who they declared his name as Jean.
Witnesses were Michel Ospital teacher 26 years old and Jean Etcheverry shoemaker 55 years old.

On 10 Ventose Year 6, Dominique Cahargun, owner of the house of Burubelcha in the village of Aldudes, quartier of Labiarin declared that his wife, Marie Etchepare, gave birth to a son named Joannes Cahargun.
Witnesses were Jean Ithurralde elder owner of Fourillo, farmer 56 years old and Jean Jacachouri, 35 years old farmer, both of the Aldudes.
Note: Marie Cahargun was noted in the margin but in the body of the act, the infant's name was recorded as Joannes. It is assumed the later is correct.

Died:
Jean Cahargun, 50 years old, widower, farmer, living in this village, died in his house of Larronyoa.
