    Other Events:

    • Other Information: Her last name was listed as Betricaina as well as her father Pierre Betricaina her marriage record. This conflicts with later birth records of her children and her death record which note her last name as Apharain. This along with the fact that they did not have children until 11 years after they were married made me hesitate that this was the correct spouse for Jean Bidart. However, with her sister's record (attached) showing the proper last name and the same first names for the parents, I am assuming that this is the correct person. I conclude that the name Betricaina must have been a name associated with her father (possibly birth house) that the writer used on her marriage record. All other records indicate her last name as Apharain.
