Jean de Barcelona, son of Mathias de Barcelona and Jeanne d'Irey, owners of the borde of Chabanorena in the Aldudes.
His godparents were Jean d'Irey, maternal uncle and Catherine, elder owner of Sarry in St. Etienne.

Jean married Marie Iriberry on 4 Feb 1765 in Les Aldudes, France. Marie (daughter of Bertrand Iriberry dit Erremerreca and Marie Ocafrain) was born on 26 Apr 1747 in Sastria, Les Aldudes, France. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

According to respective marriage records, there were two daughters born to this couple in 1777. It is assumed one or both are incorrect but no change made until additional records are found.
