• Occupation: After marrying into the house of Martinea, he took over the general farming and also ran the flour mill located on the property.

Pattin was the youngest of nine children and lost his mother in 1907 at the age of 9. His older sister Elisabeth raised him after that.

While attending mass, he suffered a stroke and died a few days later.

• Occupation: 1927-1993; She was dedicated to her family and her home. She was a hard worker including taking meticulous care of her vegetable garden. She made enough conserves to provide food throughout the winter. She had a wonderful sense of humor and she passed along her ability to laugh to each of her children.

Anna was the only child of this union, although she had two older sister through her father's first marriage. Her father died when she was only 7 years old. She was raised with her cousin Jean Baptiste Bide whose father was killed in World War One. She remained in the house of Martinea her entire life.

This was the retirement home she lived in for the last 5 years of her life.

Juanes was originally married to Jeanne Uhalt from the house of Martinea in Les Aldudes and they had two daughters Catherine and Jeanne. After the death of his first wife, he left his young daughters with relatives and went to California to herd sheep primarily in the Bakersfield area. After a visit to the Basque country in 1902, he was heading west on a train when he met Patsy Healy, owner of the Patterson-Healy sheep company in Buffalo, Wyoming. He was convinced to exit the train in Buffalo and became the first Basque in Buffalo. He summoned his brother Jean Baptiste (Manech) and later his cousins Pete and Simon Harriet from Arneguy, France. Juanes worked for a few years in Buffalo and saw the two Harriet brothers marry his two daughters. In 1909, he returned to France, remarried to Catherine Iriart and had another daughter, Marianne. He served as mayor of Les Aldudes prior to his death.
