    Notes:

    Birth:
Marriage record notes age as 55 in 1879 therefore he would have been born in 1824.

There is a Jean Goihenetche born in Les Aldudes on 3/23/1819 that is a possible match. Further research necessary to confirm.

    Courtcase:
He formed a partnership with Francois Riverin for 11/4/1867-1/7/1871 for raising & shearing sheep.
    His nephew was Jean Barneche.
He signed his name with an "X" & could not read. His wife took care of all that.
Bought 4,000 sheep with Miguel Leonis from Juan Elario who was insolvent, they divided them.
He was married to Maria Gertrudes Valdez on 8/14/1862 and she died on 3/8/1865. Through an exchange of land with his widow's sister, he acquired property on San Pedro St.
He owned property between San Pedro & Wall St.
He sent his son to the school run by the Henriots.
Leonard Labory was the executor of his estate which mainly consisted of land near San Pedro St. of $2,867 value.
In his will (1/21/1889) he directly opposed Mariana Salles to have guardianship of their children but for Leonard Labory to have it. The court allowed her to have custody. He claimed Salles was "ignorant, incompetant and had other ties".
His nephew Jean Barneche and his wife Juana took care of him during his last illness.
In 1886 he butchered a pig of 550 lbs. One of the heaviest pigs to be killed, 700 lukinka & 600 tripotas (Biscailuz)
