Esteban and Maria Echenique built this house on Telegraph Canyon Road property in the 1880s. The family operated the Echenique Sheep Company for many years from this property. Members of the family resided here through the 1990s at which time the house was torn down and a new one built. 8 acres of the property is still owned by their granddaughter, Mary Echenique Centrullo.
