• Other Information: There is a passenger list from 1868 that lists Christophe (30 years) and Rosin Achin (29 years) arriving from Germany with their three sons Paul (6 years), Baptiste (3 years) and Joseph (6 mos). According to Simon Amestoy interview, Joseph was an orphan who befriended one of the Amestoy siblings and was raised by the Amestoy family in Encino. Need to determine what happened to this family and whether it is related to Joseph.
