It appears as if they had a marriage ceremony just before he died. They were more likely originally married around 1800 before they had their 4 children.

Marie Elgart, daughter of the late Jean Elgart and Marie Pitho of the village of the Aldudes, 56 years old.
They declared that they had 4 children, Marie, Pierre, Marie and Louise. One was born on 5/26/1800 and another of 9/2/1802. The act also mentions a birth on 7 Prairial An VIII which is the same as 5/26/1800.
Witnesses were Jean Pierre Behety, 58 years old; Martin Iriart, 43 years old; Jean Cherbero, 58 years old and Samson Erramouspe, 21 years old, all four are farmers.
